Hace más de 10 años comencé un camino  diferente eligiendo el textil y la artesanía como forma de expresión y trabajo.

La exposición no pretende ser un resumen de estos 10 añossino una muestra de lo que he aprendido y de lo que puedo llegar a proyectaren un tiempo próximo.

En el camino he encontrado y desarrollado técnicas tradicionales y más experimentales, en sintonía con los tiempos que vivimos. Aplicadas a la artesanía y el diseño y a dos materias primas con las que trabajo: la seda y la lana.

abre la posibilidad de presentar mi trabajo en un contexto diferente y propicio para algunas de mis obras y presentación de proyectos seleccionados.

En la exposición doy prioridad a objetos y obras realizados en lana latxa/carranzana, bajo el nombre de ardi-ko y con sedaencolor, a la seda desvinculándola de la moda y los complementos, introduciéndome en el textil como forma de expresión artística.

More than 10 years ago I started a different path by choosing textile and handicrafts as a form of expression and work.

The exhibition is not intended to be a summary of these 10 years but a sample of what I have learned and what I can get to project in the near future.

Along the way I have found and developed traditional and more experimental techniques, in tune with the times we live. Applied to crafts and design and two raw materials I work with: silk and wool.

opens the possibility of presenting my work in a different and favorable context for some of my works and presentation of selected projects.

In the exhibition I give priority to objects and works made in latxa wool and carranzana wool, under the name of ardi-ko and sedaencolor, to silk separating it from fashion and accessories, introducing myself in the textile as a form of artistic expression.

Seda y Lana

Dos materias muy ligadas al tacto y contacto con la piel.

La piel que recubre todo nuestro cuerpo y que es intermediaria y límite entre lo más íntimo de nosotros y el exterior.

Piel, materia porosa de doble sentido,

conectando el exterior que nos rodea con nuestro interior.

Nuestro interior tan vulnerable al exterior.

Silk and Wool

Two materials closely linked to touch and skin contact.

The skin that covers our entire body and is intermediate and border between the most intimate of us and the outside.

Skin, two-way porous matter,

 connecting the exterior that surrounds us with our interior.

Our interior so vulnerable to the outside.
