El concepto de esta lámpara es el de reciclar materiales que originalmente estaban destinados a ser desechados como residuos de procesos productivos previos. Este proyecto de reciclaje incorpora restos de materiales descartados por una empresa local dedicada al metal, así como un textil de fieltro elaborado con lana hilada y cortada que resulta de trabajar con la herramienta tufting gun cut.

La lámpara se concibe como un elemento de iluminación diseñado para crear ambientes con su suave y cálida luz, contribuyendo así al bienestar general. Su producción está estrechamente ligada a la reutilización de residuos, por lo que solo es posible llevarla a cabo cuando disponemos de suficiente material para su fabricación. Estas lámparas son únicas y se elaboran bajo pedido.

Creemos firmemente que este enfoque será representativo de la producción de objetos en un futuro cercano si deseamos preservar nuestro planeta.

En el transcurso del año 2023, participé en la creación de un innovador prototipo de lámpara en colaboración con Alexis, del estudio/taller Studio PetitOMuller, para la exposición EN EL PASILLO- DATA COLLECTIVE, 22-26 noviembre, en la antígua Fábrica de Galletas Artiach, Zorrozaurre-Bilbaode, en la Bilbao Bizkaia Design Week. Nuestra meta era fomentar conexiones y colaboraciones dentro del colectivo DATA.
